[WINDING TECHNOLOGY] The 20" string wound sediment water filter medium is a wire made of thermally bonded pure polypropylene microfibers. The closer the string is to the filter core, the narrower it is wound. Such winding technology makes the filter alter its filtration rating and catch smaller and smaller dirt particulates. This universal whole house string wound cartridge will help you get rid of such sediment as rust, sand, clay, debris and small pieces of organic matter.

[USING TIPS] The 20" x 4.5" string filter system is meant for point-of-entry filtration, that is for your whole house. The cap is threaded to meet a tube size, so ensure your one has 1" NPT. Attach a bracket to the lid with the provided screws. Check that the inlet is on the left side if your plumping flows left to right, in another case it must be on the right one. Use a pressure release button and a black wrench while cartridge replacement. Double O-ring allows installing it even upside down.
