Are FilterWay filters NSF certified?
Selected products are. Certain Aquaboon replacement filter cartridges are certified to NSF/ANSI 42, and Aquaboon's listing can be verified in the official NSF International database by searching the brand name. Selected Arrowpure refrigerator filters may carry NSF/ANSI 42 and NSF/ANSI 372 certifications. Certification status is shown on the relevant product page, so check there for the specific filter you need.
What does NSF/ANSI 42 mean?
NSF/ANSI 42 is the standard for aesthetic water quality. A filter certified to it has been tested to reduce chlorine, taste, and odor, and to confirm the filter materials are safe and do not add anything harmful to the water. It is the most common certification for refrigerator and carbon block filters.
What is NSF/ANSI 372?
NSF/ANSI 372 certifies that a product is lead-free, meaning every part that touches water meets the 0.25% or lower lead-content requirement. Where stated, our Arrowpure refrigerator filters carry this certification alongside NSF/ANSI 42.
What is the difference between Aquaboon and Arrowpure?
Both are available through FilterWay. Aquaboon is the in-house filtration product line, covering whole-house systems, reverse osmosis, and replacement cartridges. Arrowpure refrigerator filters, sold through FilterWay, are compatible replacements for brands like Samsung, LG, GE, and Whirlpool.
How do I find the right filter for my refrigerator?
Find the OEM model number on your refrigerator door, the current filter, or your owner's manual (for example DA29-00020B for Samsung or MWF for GE). The easiest way to find a match is to open the Refrigerator Filters category and filter by your refrigerator brand. You can also search the model number in the site search. How often should I replace my filter?
Most refrigerator water filters last about six months. Whole-house cartridge life depends on your water and usage. Rated capacity varies by model, so check the filter label or product page for the gallon rating. If water flow slows or the taste changes, replace the filter.

Are your filters hard to install?
No. Most refrigerator filters install in under a minute with no tools. Depending on the model, you either twist the filter a quarter turn or push it in until it clicks, then flush a few gallons through the dispenser. Each product page includes step-by-step instructions for that filter type.
Is FilterWay a manufacturer or a reseller?
FilterWay is an online retail store operated by FilterWay LLC. Aquaboon is the company's in-house filtration product line. FilterWay also sells selected third-party filtration products and replacement components.
